I'm going to finish off my game (sometime!) once I reinstall, I'm going to definitely continue my "travelogue" - just I've had other games to play, and had this wiped when I redid my OS.

I'll post my posts (not that I expect any feedback ) , but I'm just where I was before - the Secret Base I think.

I believe that the true die hard DX players are currently playing The Nameless Mod.

I'm just playing Deus Ex for the first time. I found the tutorial tedious and the Liberty Island level strangely empty (I sneaked 3/4 of the way around a building, obtained a key I didn't need, found it was safer to go up than down, and then it was over), but the next stage or two was more interesting. Have just been debriefed after destroying the generator and will be continuing with the next stage ASAP.

Ya the first level can seem a little sparce...but for a new player its a great level to get your berrings...You dont need the key, but talking to Harley, and his partner helps start the story in terms of a bit of a background on the distruction of the statue...not to mention the goodies you can get if you check the sunken boat. Personally I like to go non leathal..sometimes not touching any  of the NSF...but even when I do that Paul still reminds me of all the people iv killed, and to pace myself lol.....Second level is were the story really begins, but if your about to go after the generator..try the non leathal way, but depends on the player...One thing iv found about Deus the out the yrs..each time you play it theres always something new..find the fauls floor in Jacobsons office??? Well my friend Jock just dropped me off in Hong Kong, so im off to find Tracer, but good luck in your missions
Cheers

Actually if you use nonlethal tactics but still wipe out a good chunk of the forces on the island, he praises you for keeping a level head. I always thought that was a really strong characterization for your brother, especially once you learn more about him.
